MAYOR DWYER STATED THIS IS A PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED CODE CHANGES. WE ALREADY HAD A PUBLIC HEARING BUT WE RE MAKING SOME CHANGES AND CLARIFYING THINGS. WE DID PUBLICH NOTICE OF THE PUBLIC HARING AS WELL AS NOTICE HUNG AT VILLAGE HALL. THIS IS NO DIFFERENCE OTHER THAN ONE WORD AND THE FEES THAN WHAT WAS ALREADY PASSED.  

 

MAYOR DWYER OPENED THE PUBLIC HEARING TO THE PUBLIC.  

 

MAYOR DWYER READ SECTION 116-7 PENALTIES FOR OFFENSES- SECTION A WILL HAVE NO CHANGE. SECTION B SAYS PENALTIES WILL BE SET BY RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE BOARD. SECTION C SAYS EACH DAY A VIOLATION CONTINUES FOLLOWING THE PERIOD SPECIFIED IN THE RELEVENT ACCUSATORY INSTRUMENT SHALL CONSTITUTE A SEPARATE VIOLATION FOR PURPOSES OF SETTING PENALTIES.    CHAPTER 116-27 PENALTIES FOR OFFENSES , SECTION 1 – VIOLATION OF THIS ARTICLE SHALL CONSTITUTE A MUNICIPAL INFRACTION AND WILL BE SUBJECT TO APPLICABLE PENALTIES UNDER THIS ARTICLE IN ADDITION TO ANY OTHER IMPOSED BY THE CODE OR AN ORDINANCE, INCLUDING CHAPTER 38 OR CHAPTER 40.   B- PENALTIES FOR THESE VIOLATIONS WILL BE SET BY RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE BOARD. C – EACH DAY A VIOLATION CONTINUES SHALL CONSTITUTE A SEPARATION VIOLATION FOR PURPOSES OF SETTING PENALTIES.
