NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public will be held by the Village Board of the Village of Greenwood Lake, Orange County, New York, on March 20, 2024 at 6 p.m., or as soon thereafter as can be heard, in the court house located at 47 Waterstone Road to consider the adoption of a local law to authorizing a property tax levy limit in excess of the limit established in General Municipal Law § 3-C.
For any person unable to participate at the time of the Public Hearing, email comments may be submitted in advance to the Village Clerk, Katheleen Holder at vcmgwl@yahoo.com.
Said Local Law will be made available for review in the Village Clerk’s office, 18 Church Street, Greenwood Lake, New York and may be examined by any interested party from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday in advance of the meeting on or before February 29, 2024.

NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF THE TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL
(PURSUANT TO SECTION 1406 OF REAL PROPERTY TAX LAW)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assessor of the Village of Greenwood Lake, County of Orange, State of New York, has completed the Tentative Assessment Roll for the current year and that a copy thereof has been left with the office of the Village Clerk, Church Street, Greenwood Lake, where it may be seen and examined by any interested person until February 22, 2024, and on such day at 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm the Board of Assessment Review will meet at the Village Hall, 18 Church Street, Greenwood Lake, NY to hear and examine all verified written complaints in relation to such assessments, on the written application of any person believing himself to be aggrieved.
A publication containing procedures for contesting an assessment is available at the Village Hall.
