PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG.
ROLL CALL BY VILLAGE CLERK PATRICIA OLSEN.
ALL PRESENT.
MAYOR DWYER STATED THIS IS THE TIME OF THE YEAR WHEN I LIKE TO GIVE WHAT I CALL THE STATE OF THE VILLAGE.
THE YEAR OF 2016 BEGAN WITH A $75,000 GRANT FROM NEW YORK STATE SENATE FOR WATERSTONE ROAD SIDEWALKS AND IMPROVEMENTS. THE VILLAGE GOVERNMENT STREAMLINED PAYMENT METHODS FOR CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS FOR WATER BILLS. WE RETAINED A PROFESSIONAL AND FULLY VOLUNTEER ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENTIST WHO WILL BE STUDYING THE LAKE AND ITS SURROUNDING ECOSYSTEM. WE AQUIRED NEARLY 1 ACRE OF PROPERTY FOR $1.00 FROM ORANGE COUNTY TO SERVE AS A PUBLIC PARK AND A PASSIVE BOAT LAUNCH FOR ALL RESIDENTS. WE THEN RECEIVED A GRANT OF OVER $50,000 TO CONVERT THAT PROPERTY INTO THE PARK. WE HAVE WORKED CLOSELY WITH OUR COMMUNITY COALITION TO FIGHT DRUG ABUSE IN THE COMMUNITY, MOSTLY AMONG OUR YOUTH. THIS YEAR WE PUT ON A STAIRWAY TO HEROIN PRESENTATION WHICH WAS EXTREMELY SUCCESSFUL AND ATTENDED BY MANY IN THE COMMUNITY. WE EXPANDED THE HOURS OF OPERATION AND ACTIVITIES AT THE LOCAL TEEN CENTER WHICH NOW INCLUDES AN ART PROGRAM RUN BY A NEW VOLUTEER CHRIS VAN VOOREN. NEXT YEAR WE WILL BE CONSTRUCTING A COMMUNITY GARDEN THAT WILL BE OPERATED BY THE TEENS AND LOCATED AT THE ELKS CLUB. THE ORGANIZERS OF THE GWL ANNUAL 5K GAVE US A DONATION FOR THIS OF $600.00. WE ALSO PUT TOGETHER THE FIRST EVER YOUTH LEAGUE SPORTS PROGRAM FOR THE KIDS IN WHICH THEY INTERACT WITH MYSELF AND OTHER LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT.
WE HAVE SEEN SOME GREAT NEW BUSINESSES OPEN UP IN THE LAKE INCLUDING AN ART STUDIO, MEXICAN RESTAURANT, COUNTRY GROCER REOPENED, VAPE SHOP, FLORIST, A TECHNOLOGY COMPANY AND OF COURSE COVE CASTLE ON THE LAKE. IN ADDITION WE HAVE SEEN SOME GREAT INVESTMENTS BY EXISTING LOCAL BUSINESSES WHO DECIDED TO EXPAND THEIR OPERATIONS, IMPROVE THEIR STOREFRONTS AND GROW THEIR BUSINESSES. WE BEGAN SPONSORING YOGA AND ZUMBA AT THE BEACH TO HELP OUR RESIDENTS GET HEALTHY AND HAPPY. WE BROUGHT BACK THEATRE ON THE LAKE WITH A BROADWAY SHOW ON THE BEACH THIS PAST SUMMER. THIS YEAR WE WILL BE HAVING A WEEK LONG THEATRE PRODUCTION. WE FOUND THE HOBOKEN FILM FESTIVAL A NEW HOME HERE IN GREENWOOD LAKE. THIS PAST YEAR WE PLAYED AN INSTRUMENTAL ROLE IN BREAKING GROUND FOR THE WAH TA WAH NATURAL GAS PROJECT. THIS WILL SUPPLY RELIABLE AND AFFORDABLE NATURAL GAS TO THE ENTIRE COMMUNITY IN WAH TA WAH PARK. TOWARD THE END OF THE YEAR WE RECEIVED A GRANT OF $50,000 TO CONSTRUCT A HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE PATHWAY THROUGH OUR PARKLAND TO CONNECT OUR TWO PARKS.
ITS BEEN A VERY BUSY AND PRODUCTIVE YEAR FOR GREENWOOD LAKE. THIS ADMINISTRATION HAS BEEN ABLE TO ACCOMPLISH ALL OF THIS WHILE MAINTAINING A VERY TIGHT BUDGET. ONE THAT COMES IN UNDERBUDGET YEAR AFTER YEAR. JUST LAST YEAR WE ADDED OVER $100,000 TO OUR FUND BALANCE BY COMING IN UNDER BUDGET. WE USE COST SAVING MEASURES WHENEVER POSSIBLE BUT NEVER AT THE EXPENSE OF THE SERVICES OUR RESIDENTS HAVE COME TO RELY ON. WE HAVE FOUND WAY TO SECURE GRANT FUNDING FOR NECESSARY PROJECTS AND MAKE SURE THAT OUR SAVINGS WILL PROVIDE NECESSARY FUNDING FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS WHEN THERE IS NO GRANT FUNDING AVAILABLE. THIS COMING YEAR WE WILL BE USING GRANT FUNDS TO CONSTRUCT NEW SIDEWALKS ON WATERSTONE ROAD AND REPAIR SIDEWALKS ON WINDERMERE. WE WILL BE USING THE NEWLY ESTABLISHED WATER FUND BALANCE TO BUILD A NEW WELL. OUR CONSCIENTOUS MANAGEMENT OF TAXPAYER DOLLARS WILL ALLOW US TO PERFORM THIS VITAL CAPITAL PROJECT WITHOUT TAKING ON NEW DEBT AND WITHOUT INCREASING USER FEES FOR OUR WATER CUSTOMERS.
LET’S BE HONEST THOUGH 2016 WAS BY NO MEANS A SMOOTH RIDE. WE DEALT WITH A CRISIS THAT IS BEING SEEN ALL AROUND THE NATION, LEAD AND COPPER IN WATER. DEALING WITH THIS ISSUE IN A STRAIGHT FORWARD MANNER I AM PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THAT THE APPROACH WE TOOK LED TO REDUCING THE LEAD LEVELS TO A POINT WHERE WE ARE NO LONGER EXCEEDING LEAD LEVELS. I AM VERY PROUD OF THE WORK THIS BOARD HAS DONE. THE IDEAS AND WORK OF MANY HAVE CREATED A VILLAGE THAT WE CAN ALL BE PROUD OF, HOWEVER THERE IS STILL MUCH WORK TO BE DONE IN THE FUTURE AND I LOOK FORWARD TO BEING YOUR MAYOR.
I WANT TO THANK EVERYONE ON THE BOARD IN THIS ADMINISTRATION FOR BEING SUPPORTIVE, IT’S A GREAT TEAM. YOU SHOULD ALL BE PROUD OF THE WORK YOU HAVE DONE. ITS NOT EASY WHEN YOUR NEIGHBORS HAVE ISSUES AND YOUR FRIENDS HAVE ISSUES. IT IS OUR JOB TO SERVE THE PUBLIC.

COURT REPORTED BY JUSTICE KEITH GARLEY
FOR THE MONTH OF DECEMBER WE STARTED 194 CASES AND CLOSED 132 OLD CASES. WE DID GET OUR JCAP GRANT, NOT AS MUCH AS WE WANTED BUT ENOUGH TO REPLACE THE OLD FILING CABINETS AND PUT AN EXTRA SECURITY CAMERA IN AND A FEW OTHER THINGS.
MAYOR DWYER CONGRATULATED JUSTICE GARLEY ON BEING NAMED VICE PRESIDENT OF THE ORANGE COUNTY MAGISTRATES ASSOCIATION.
WATER REPORTED BY PHIL LANDRU
I’D LIKE TO THANK WARWICK FOR THEIR ASSISTANCE ON FIXING TWO WATER MAIN BREAKS, ONE ON JERSEY AVE THAT WAS VERY BIG AND WE WERE LOSING A LOT OF WATER. ITS BEEN REPAIRED. WE HAD LEAK DETECTION DOWN TO FIND THESE LEAKS AND THEY LOCATED THEM QUICKLY. THE OTHER BREAK WAS IN A BOX CULVERT ON MOUNTAIN LAKES LANE WHICH WAS MORE DIFFICULT TO FIX DESPITE BEING A SMALLER BREAK. I HAD TO SHUT DOWN FOUR VALVES TO ISOLATE THE LEAK AND IT CAUSED SOME TURBULENCE TO THE WATER, SO I HAD TO BLEED SOME HYDRANTS WHICH CAUSED SOME DISCOLORED WATER. WE HAVE BEEN BUSY MARKING OUT WATER LINES UP IN WAH TA WAH AHEAD OF THE GAS LINE INSTALLATION. THEY ARE STILL UP THERE BUT MOSTLY WORKING ON SERVICES AND NOT MAINS. THE ADDITION OF ORTHOPHOSPHATES HAS LED TO FAVORABLE RESULTS IN LEAD REMOVAL. THE FIRST RESULTS HAVE COME BACK AND I AM PLEASED TO REPORT THAT THE VILLAGE IS NO LONGER EXCEEDED LEAD LEVELS. WE ARE STILL EXCEEDING COPPER LEVELS, ALTHOUGH COPPER IS NOT LISTED AS A CONTAMINANT AND NO PUBLIC EDUCATION OR NOTIFICATION IS REQUIRED. WE DO HAVE TO ADDRESS THE COPPER SITUATION, MAYBE WITH SODA ASH. WE NEED TO GET TOGETHER WITH JIM DWYER.
MAYOR DWYER – I WANT TO THANK PHIL, AND PAT AND BETH FOR ALL THEIR HELP WITH THE NOTIFICATIONS, AND SAMPLING AND MAILINGS. IT CREATED SO MUCH EXTRA WORK FOR EVERYONE.

TRTUSTEE HOWLEY REPORT- THE MAYOR AND I HAVE BEGUN PRELIMINARY MEETINGS WITH THE CHIEF FOR NEXT YEARS BUDGET AND GOING OVER THE TAIL END OF THIS YEARS BUDGET. WE HAVE TO START THIS PROCESS EARLY. IN DISCUSSING PARKING FINES THE CHIEF FEELS THAT THEY HAVEN’T BEEN CHANGED IN A LONG TIME AND THEY ARE VERY LOW, SO TONIGHT WE ARE GOING TO LOOK TO PASS A RESOLUTON TO RAISE THE RATES AT LEAST A LITTLE BIT.
DEPUTY MAYOR KELM REPORT -ON DECEMBER 10TH THE IRISH WHISPER SPONSORED A SANTACON TO RAISE MONEY FOR THE TEEN CENTER. THEY REAISED $700.00. TRUSTEE SELLIER REPORT – IN THE MONTH OF DECEMBER THERE WERE TWO APPLICANTS TO THE PLANNING BOARD. THE FIRST ONE WAS FOR A PIZZERIA AT THE CORNER OF 17A AND WINDERMERE AVE AND THAT WAS APPROVED. THE SECOND APPLICATION WAS FOR THE FIRE DEPARTMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THEIR NEW BUILDING ON MOUNTAIN LAKES LANE. THAT APPLICATION WAS ALSO APPROVED. THERE ARE SOME ENGINEERNG COMMENTS THAT THEY HAVE TO ADDRESS. THE ZONING BOARD MET IN DECEMBER AND THERE WAS ONE APPLICANT FOR A VARIANCE AND INTERPRETATION OF A SECOND STRUCTURE ON THE PROPERTY TO BE USED AS A RENTAL. IT WAS A PREEXISTING USE AND IT WAS APPROVED. THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN COMMITTEE NEEDS TO SCHEDULE TIME WITH THE VILLAGE BOARD TO GO OVER THE NEW PLAN.
ATTORNEY BUCKHEIT REPORT – AT THE REQUEST OF THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE I MET WITH THE OWNERS OF THE ROOSTER CAFÉ TO ADDRESS SOME OF THEIR CONCERNS. MOST OF THEIR ISSUES DID NOT INVOLVE THE VILLAGE, BUT WHENEVER ANYONE WANTS TO MEET WITH VILLAGE OFFICIALS WE ARE ALWAYS WILLING TO DO SO. I ALSO ATTENDED ASSEMBLYMAN BRABENECS SWEARING IN CEREMONY AND REMINDED HIM THAT THE VILLAGE STILL HAS MANY NEEDS AND WE APPRECIATE HIS CONTINUED HELP.
VILLAGE CLERK PAT OLSEN REPORT – I WANTED TO GO OVER QUICKLY THE LAWS ON SNOW REMOVAL. NO VEHICLE IS TO BE PARKED, LEFT UNATTENDED OR ABANDONED IN THE VILLAGE OF GREENWOOD LAKE IN SUCH A MANNER AS TO RESTRICT, HARM OR INTERFERE WITH VEHICLE TRAFFIC OR THE PROPER REMOVAL OF SNOW FROM A TRAVELED PORTION OF ANY STREET WITHIN THE VILLAGE. AS FAR AS SNOW REMOVAL REQUIREMENTS ON SIDEWALKS, EVERY OWNER, LEASEE, TENANT OR OCCUPANT HAVING CHARGE OF ANY BUILDING OR LOT OF GROUND IN THE VILLAGE OF GREENWOOD LAKE ABUTTING UPON ANY STREET OR PUBLIC PLACE, SHALL AND MUST WITHIN TEN HOURS AFTER CESSATION OF SNOW OR ACCUMULLATION OF ICE ON SIDEWALK, DRIVEWAY SHALL REMOVE OR CAUSE TO BE REMOVED OR CLEARED ENTIRELY PROVIDING THAT THE TIME BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 7:00PM AND 7:00AM SHALL NOT BE INCLUDED IN THE TEN HOUR TIME FRAME. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THIS CHAPTER WILL CONSTITUE A VIOLATION TO THE OWNER, LEASEE, TENANT OR OTHER PERSON OF UP TO $250 PER DAY OR 15 DAYS IMPRISONMENT. AFTER THE EXPIRATION OF SAID TIME FRAME, THE VILLAGE CAN CLEAN THE SIDEWALK UP AND SUBMIT A REPORT OF THE COST OF SAID CLEAN UP WHICH CAN THEN BE RELEVIED TO YOUR TAXES. SO JUST WATCH WHERE YOU PARK AND MAKE SURE YOU CLEAN OFF THE SIDEWALK .
WE ALSO SENT OUT THE DELINQUENT WATER LETTERS. IF YOU HAVEN’T PAID YOUR SEPTEMBER WATER BILL BY NOW IT IS VERY DELINQUENT AND IF NOT PAID BY THE END OF JANUARY, ANY OUTSTANDING BALANCE WILL BE RELEVIED TO YOUR JUNE TAX BILL AS OF FEBRUARY 1ST.
MAYOR DWYER – PARKING LAWS WILL BE ENFORCED. NO PARKING ON ANY OF THE MAIN ROADS DURING A SNOWSTORM. SNOW PLOWS AND EMERGENCY VEHICLES NEED TO GET THROUGH. SIDEWALKS MUST BE CLEANED UP TO ALLOW PEDESTRIANS TO SAFELY WALK DOWN THE STREET. WE TRY TO HELP CLEAN UP BUT IT IS THE OWNERS RESPONSIBILITY TO KEEP THE SIDEWALK CLEAR.
OLD BUSINESS
WATER SYSTEM/LEAD AND COPPER- THE WATER OPERATOR SPOKE ABOUT THIS EARLIER. WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF PUTTING TOGETHER BID SPECIFICATIONS FOR A NEW WELL. WE HAVE TWO WELLS AT THE MOMENT AND WOULD LIKE A LITTLE MORE SECURITY IN CASE ONE OF THE WELLS SHOULD FAIL. WE HAVE DEVELOPED A GOOD FUND BALANCE IN THE WATER ACCOUNT WHICH WE WILL USE INSTEAD OF INCREASING FEES TO THE RESIDENTS. THIS WILL BE A MAJOR CAPITAL PROJECT. WE ARE NOW BELOW THE STATE MAXIMUM LEVEL FOR LEAD LEVELS. WE WERE ABOVE LAST YEAR BUT MADE SOME CHANGES AND ARE NOW BELOW THE MAXIMUM CONTAMINANT LEVELS. COPPER STILL REMAINS AT AN ACTION LEVEL. WE WILL BE ADDRESSING THE COPPER ISSUE.
LAKE MANAGEMENT – MAYOR DWYER STATED WE ARE WORKING ON THE PROJECT IN THE NORTH ARM. WE DID SOME SEDIMENT REMOVAL AND A CHANNEL. WE HAVE SUBMITTED AN APPLICATION TO CONTINUE THE HERBICIDE PROGRAM. WE WANT TO DIG OUT THE CHANNEL FOR THOSE RESIDENTS ON THE NORTH ARM, BU IF ANYONE HAS SEEN IT DURING THE DRAWDOWN, IT LOOKS LIKE IT MAY BECOME IMPASSABLE OVER THE NEXT FEW YEARS. WE NEED TO START ADDRESSING THAT RIGHT AWAY.
WTW PARK NATURAL GAS – MAYOR DWYER STATED WE WERE ABLE TO GET WAH TA WAH PARK HOOKED UP TO NATURAL GAS AND ARE IN PHASE 2 OF THAT PROJECT. THEY OFFERED TO EVERY RESIDENT IN WAH TA WAH THE OPPORTUNITY TO GET INTO NATURAL GAS AND THOSE THAT TOOK THAT OPPORTUNITY WILL BE CONNECTED WITHIN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS.
SEWER HARDSHIP APPLICATION – WE SUBMITTED AN APPLICATION. THE DEC SAID WE ARE ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE FUNDING FOR SEWERS. WE WANT TO SEE WHAT IS AVAILABLE AND HOW LOW THE LOW INTEREST LOANS AVAILABLE ACTUALLY ARE. WE WILL THEN DISCUSS AS A BOARD WITH THE PUBLICS INPUT HOW TO PROCEED.
WATERSTONE ROAD SIDEWALKS – IN SPEAKING WITH OUR ENGINEER, WE HAVE RECEIVED A COMMTTMENT FOR A GRANT OF $75,000. WE CANNOT START THIS PROJECT UNTIL THE FUNDING HAS BEEN MADE AVAILABLE. WE ARE STILL WAITING, HOPEFULLY THIS WILL BE DONE IN THE SPRING. WE WILL PRESS THE SENATORS OFFICE.
WINDERMERE AVENUE SIDEWALKS – THIS PROJECT WIL PROCEED. WE EXPECT THIS WILL BE DONE THIS SPRING FOR A CERTAIN PORTION OF THE VILLAGE. OUR GOAL IS THROUGHOUT THE NEXT FEW YEARS TO COMPLETELY REPAIR ALL THE SIDEWALKS ON WINDERMEERE AVENUE OR AT THE VERY LEAST ALL OF THE ONES IN NEED OF REPAIR. WE ARE USING CHIPS MONEY TO MAKE THESE REPAIRS. WE WILL START THE PROJECT WITH SIDEWALKS CLOSEST TO THE LIGHT AT JERSEY AVENUE AND THEN WORK OUR WAY NORTH.
NEW BUSINESS
HUD TRAIL GRANT – MAYOR DWYER STATED WE RECEIVED A $50,000 GRANT FROM HUD TO CONSTRUCT A HANDIICAP ACCESSIBLE ELEVATED PATHWAY THROUGH THE WETLANDS CONNECTED SEVERAL PARKS. I WAS INSPIRED BY A PATHWAY IN GEORGIA THAT WENT THROUGH A ZOO OVER A VERY SENSITIVE ECOSYSTEM. THE BEST WAY TO PRESERVE THESE WETLANDS IS TO PREVENT FOOT TRAFFIC, SO A RAISED WALKWAY WILL ADDRESS THIS. IT WILL CONNECT THE DOG PARK TO THE BEN WINSTANLEY PARK NEXT TO CVS. I HOPE THIS PPROJECT WILL START IN THE SUMMER TIME.
RETRO BASIN REPLACEMENT – WE HAVE RETROFITTED CATCH BASINS THROUGHOUT THE VILLAGE THAT HAVE FILTER SYSTEMS INSTALLED IN THEM. WHEN THEY WERE INSTALLED THERE WERE NO LONG TERM PLANS FOR REPLACING THE FILTERS. WE’VE BEEN CLEANING THEM OUT AND THEY ARE PAST THEIR LIFESPAN. WE HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR FUNDING AND WOULD LIKE TO REPLACE THEM ALL. THEY ARE LOCATED AT POINTS WHERE WATER ENTERS THE LAKE.
COALTION TEEN CNETER UPDATES – THE TEEN CENTER HAS EXPANDED ITS HOURS AND ACTIVITIES. IT USED TO BE OPEN ONLY FROM 6:00 TO 8:00PM ON WEDNESDAY. IT’S NOW OPEN AT 4:00 FOR ALL AGES AS AN ART PROGRAM. THERE IS A LOCAL ARTIST CHRIS VAN VOOREN, WHO PAINTED THE MURAL ON THE HAIR SALON IN TOWN, WHO IS COMING IN EVERY WEDNESDAY. THEY ARE GOING TO BE CONSTRUCTING A GARDEN THAT WILL BE RUN BY THE TEEN CENTER AT THE ELKS. IT WILL BE FULLY MAINTIANED BY THE TEENS, THE COMMUNITY COALITION HAD A MEETING TONIGHT AND A LOT OF GREAT THINGS ARE COMING OUT OF THE TEEN CENTER. THE TEEN CENTER IS OPERATED BY THE COALITION VOUNTEERS TO GIVE THE KIDS IN THE COMMUNITY HEALTHY CHOICES AND ACTVITIES TO INTEREACT WITH GOOD ADULTS AND DO GOOD THINGS. WE HAVE ABOUT SIXTY KIDS THERE EVERY WEEK.
PARKING FINE SCHEDULE – AS TRUSTEE HOWLEY MENTIONED WE ARE GOING TO MAKE SOME ADJUSTMENTS TO THESE FEES. WE WANT TO DETER PEOPLE FROM BREAKING THESE LAWS. THEY ARE THERE TO PROTECT THE PEOPLE USING OUR ROADWAYS, KEEP HYDRANT AND FIRE PARKING LANES CLEAR.
BUILDING DEPARTMENT – MAYOR DWYER STATED I WANT TO MAKE PEOPLE AWARE THAT THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT IS STILL OPERATING. WE ARE CURRENTLY IN REVIEW OF A SITUATION AND WILL BE PASSING A RESOLUTION TO PUT IN TEMPORARY STAFF TO ENSURE THAT THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT BUSINESS IS CONDUCTED. THIS IS AN EMPLOYEE MATTER AND I CANNOT DISCUSS ANY DETAILS OF THIS IN PUBLIC. WE WILL BE GOING INTO EXECUTIVE SESSION TO DISCUSS THIS IN MORE DETAIL. WE WILL LET THE PUBLIC KNOW AS THE SITUATION DEVELOPS.

If you have vague goals, you will get vague results, browse this website on line viagra if any at all. The Don’ts: Expect to have an automatic erection There are a lot of people who are facing erectile dysfunction (ED) which is also appalachianmagazine.com generico levitra on line known as impotence. Taking canadian pharmacy cialis involves a medical doctors prescription, however it is so readily available one can manage to recover naturally if they will learn how to clean up the spam. Sildenafil citrate available in the medicine is a PDE-5 inhibitor in the same route as discount viagra on sale here, and can be taken as and when required.
MAYOR DWYER – IM NOT SURE WHAT EXACTLY YOURE TALKING ABOUT. WE HAVE A FACEBOOK PAGE AND A WEBSITE AND WE TRY TO KEEP THEM AS UPDATED AS POSSIBLE. I WILL TRY AND REVIEW IT AND MAKE SURE THINGS ARE CLEAR.
VILLAGE CLERK PATICIA OLSEN ASKED IS IT EVENTS?
LAURA – WELL THE WATER QUALITY REPORT IS FROM 2015.
VILLAGE CLERK PATRICIA OLSEN – THAT IS ALWAYS A YEAR BEHIND. WE HAVEN’T DONE A REVIEW OF THE 2016 WATER QUALITY AS OF YET AS YEAR JUST ENDED. THE MINUTES ARE A LITTLE BEHIND.
MAYOR DWYER STATED I WILL MAKE SURE THE MINUTES ARE UP TO DATE.
CAROLE FLOOD – I HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT THE RESOLUTION NAMING FUSCO ENGINEERING, ISN’T HE ALREADY APPOINTED YOUR ENGINEER?
MAYOR DWYER- YES HE IS OUR ENGINEER, THIS IS FOR BUILDING INSPECTION APPOINTING THEM TEMPORARY BUILDING INSPECTORS. UNTIL WE PASS THE RESOLUTION NO ONE FROM HIS FIRM IS ALLOWED TO SIGN OR ISSUE A BUILDING PERMIT OR DOCUMENT. THIS IS JUST TEMPORARY.
CAROLE FLOOD – HAVE YOU DONE AWAY WITH THE BUILDING INSPECTOR?
MAYOR DWYER- NO, THIS IS A TEMPORARY ARRANGEMENT. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THE VILLAGE BOARD HAS HAD TO MEET, ALTHOUGH I HAVE SPOKEN TO THEM ALL. THIS IS JUST UNTIL THE MATTER IS RESOLVED.
