During Greenwood Lake’s Oktoberfest Celebration, Saturday and Sunday, October 15-16, 2022, adults will have plenty of contests to choose from: ax throwing, stein holding, log sawing, stump the nail, and more with prizes for first place achievement.
In the ballpark there will be costume contests and agility competitions and many photo ops, as well. Over 30 vendors and food trucks, including a Warsteiner Beer Garden, will offer German style beer, cotton candy, snow cones, and a large menu of serious Oktoberfest gourmet items, from 11AM-10PM. Meanwhile, kids will be able to enjoy a touch a truck event, carnival games, and inflatable bouncey houses, slides, and other devices.
The Greenwood Lake Elks Lodge, on 35 Chestnut Street, will host this year’s event, the site of previous events held in the Village. The weekend event will feature music by Rock Underground musicians, Keith Papa, Vinyl Tap, and Whiskey Crossing scheduled so far, with other activities designed to appeal to families throughout the region.
